20 June is International World Refugee Day. The day draws attention to the situation of refugees around the world. The situation has never been as bad as it is now. According to a recent report by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), 82.4 million people are currently forced to flee their homes, more than ever before. At 42 per cent, almost half of the displaced are girls and boys under the age of 18. Many of them hardly have the chance for a life fit for children and suffer from traumatic experiences.
