A new everyday life for Naimo Jebrael and her family
Naimo Jebrael and her family are overjoyed that clean drinking water is available in their hometown of Kayane for the first time. This change makes their daily lives much easier.
Family life mainly takes place in the courtyard. A daughter is enjoying a moment of peace here. The chickens are kept in the small corrugated iron coop.
It is important to the family that the water is healthy and clean. Naimo's man, Hila, plays an important role in this. He was trained as part of the project and has since taken on an important task: the operation, maintenance and cleaning of the filtration system.
Hila Jebrael plans to use the water left over from filter cleaning. He wants to use it to irrigate plants such as bananas, which are now also growing in Kayane.
Finally, a glimpse into the future. Behind the family, you can see the basic structure for the shop that Naimo Jebrael would like to open soon. Our water project has given her the time and freedom to take advantage of this income opportunity. She would like the money to be used to send the children to school.
