A piece of normality for children traumatized by war
Sana A. is part of the support team at a temporary learning centre in the Idlib region. She herself had to leave her home a few years ago. She can therefore empathize very well with the children's fears and needs.
Education is the most important foundation for a self-determined life. As part of our education project, the participating children also receive the necessary school materials.
In the lessons, the children learn important basic skills such as reading, writing, maths and English. Participation in the programme prepares them for attending a regular school.
In addition to lessons, the programme also includes sports and leisure activities. During this time, the participating children experience carefree moments.
