The construction of the water system is teamwork. Our local partner organisation OWDA, construction companies and the local community work hand in hand.
Clean drinking water is scarce in the Shabelle zone. After the rainy season, people get their water from open water sources, otherwise mainly from the river. This is a major health risk. Our water system in Bursaredo therefore also includes a filtration system.
