Reconstruction of destroyed infrastructure in northern Syria

Our local team has already laid new drinking water pipes at several locations. This is urgently needed because the fighting in the region has brought the infrastructure to a standstill.  

Heavy equipment is used to shovel out sewers. This is an important contribution to health protection in a region where temperatures not infrequently rise above 40 degrees.

Where there is no sewer system, tankers take over the removal of wastewater, including from sanitary septic tanks.

Our project ensures that there is finally waste management in the municipalities again. Containers are set up, equipment is distributed.

A whole row of wheelbarrows is ready for use.

Last but not least, the waste is taken to landfills.
